There’s a good reason why the residents of Paradise Valley homes name their town after pure bliss.  Located in Maricopa County, Arizona  right around Scottsdale, homes in Paradise Valley are truly something magnificent.  This affluent town has almost 15,000 people but retains a resort-like atmosphere even though the vacationers here never leave.  There are over 12 resorts in this relatively small community and some of the real estate is truly extravagant.

The Natural Beauty of Scottsdale Homes and Paradise Valley

This champion town among many North Scottsdale luxury homes is hard to beat.  The town is a naturalistic paradise with plenty of hillside view homes, large fields of green and deep blue waters.  While some residents use the area for second homes, others are more than happy to live in the town full time.  In the background of the town is Camelback Mountain, and it’s one of a few gorgeous mountains surrounding the area.  Whether you’re gazing at the dark Arizona sky (great for seeing celestial phenomenon) or tall mountains in the background, you certainly get your money’s worth in scenery.

Located in the Sonoran Desert area, and nearby other Scottsdale luxury homes, this town has evolved from humble beginnings (established 1961) into a residential community of 16 square miles and 14,444 people.  Despite the small and scenic feel residents describe, there are actually over 5,000 homes in Paradise Valley!

Like most Northern Scottsdale real estate, Paradise Valley is half residential paradise, half resort party.  This community holds world class resorts and some of the most excited amenities include dining, pools, spas, fitness facilities, fountains and wondrous plant life.  Some of the resorts you can find within Paradise Valley, Arizona include Camelback Inn, Cottonwood, DoubleTree, Hermosa Inn, Montelucia Resort, Sanctuary Camelback, Scottsdale Plaza and SmokeTree Resort.

Unlike most other Scottsdale homes, Paradise Valley actually grew into a full-fledged town with a government system and 84 employees.  (Most other communities are simply landowner memberships)  The town erected a sculpted statue in honor of Senator Barry Goldwater, a resident of the town.  The life size statue was unveiled in 2004 and is now part of the Goldwater Memorial.  This remains one of the town’s most popular features.  In April 2011, the town will be celebrating its 50th anniversary and invites all of its members to come and enjoy the show.

This shows you the type of community that defines Paradise Valley.  Despite being a large area and a full town, it remains a very humble and very accommodating community.  This is not just the type of place you come to visit, but the type you fall in love with, and eventually move into!

If you want to make a new start, invest in a profitable real estate venture, retire with style, or just come see the beauty of the Arizona desert, then remember Paradise Valley.  It’s not just high-end living; it’s a small glimpse of paradise.
